one idea i had was to delete all the affected .asd's and see if that would have an effect, but i'm not going to bother unless ableton thinks it'll do some good. multiple bug reports sent + many hours on my part + zero response or feedback from ableton = fuggit. at this point i'll just chalk it up to a one time corruption (albeit of pretty much everything that got opened with beta 12) and move on...

There should be a word from Ableton around here, if this Prob is already adressed.

really we need to try and isolate exactly when it happens so they can reproduce it - they can't fix it otherwise as it's not happening on their machines

Actually i don`t know how to narrow it down any more it is just like i described and it happens all the time, only thing i did not test yet if it happens in a single audio track Projekt. In like every audio track recorded within live, i do set new Warp MArkers with a new starting point. I save the Projekt. Close Ableton, open it up again and all previously set warp markers are gone. The starting Point is completely different to where i put it. Just like noticed before, warp markers are all over the Place.

Deleting the ASD File did not change the effect. As soon as i save, close and open up again its screwed again.

Files with Warp Markers set in Live 7 got warp markers where they belong. Am i missing something? Is it just a few People that got this Problem? I am just curious, cause everything worked out so good till beta 12.

Hi,

Please all check again with beta 17, as some bugs relating to wrap markers have been fixed. Then, do try to come up with a scenario that can help us reproduce the issue, if it is still there.

it looks to me that my issues are fixed. the incorrect warp markers are still there (see above screenshots), but i'm guessing that's because of all the experimentation i was doing. adjusting loop brackets no longer causes a crash.

thanks ableton, i'm not crazy after all.

I'll move the thread then. Your old documents may still have wrong info, that's the game of beta testing. If you find strange circumstances with warping, please open a new thread with details instructions as how to reproduce.
