Although I agree that it's not really worth getting into debates on a music forum (I try to avoid that myself), I think it comes across pretty pompous when you try to politically correct someone with a term like this. You're seriously saying that using the term 'ethnic' is insensitive to the whole world?

He said "looking for ethnic (Asian, african,...) kits". He's looking for not just asian and african kits, but judging by the "...", also kits specific to other parts of the world and different cultures. There is a word for that. It's "ETHNIC". It is not politically incorrect, it's the appropriate word.

I'm sorry, I'm quite slow to anger on forums and I realize that it's often futile to have debates like this, but it just pisses me off when someone picks a fight or tells someone they've done something wrong when they haven't.

thats the problem- its not appropriate, its offensive. there is not "ethnic" music or "ethnic" percussion
