That MINIAK looks very interesting. The 3 mod wheels, very Alesis alright. The Micron already packs quite a punch so an updated version could be a real winner.

Not that I want (or need, hell I have a Pulse and a Microwave XT) a Miniak, but I DID own a Micron in the past. It has a nice sound, has a deep synthesis engine, but the keyboard was atrocious. Poor, spongy response and NO AFTERTOUCH.

Hopefully the Miniak will resolve these issues.

Thats something different! Me like!

Ive brought the Remote SL on many gigs, and its enormous really, takes up way to much space and have to leave out stuff. The MK2 wasn't that much smaller. Was thinking to switch to the Korg Nanos, but these bastards would be great too! Both as live performance controllers and dj tools. And I do both. No buttons sticking out so easy to stack them, and cable can be put inside, and can come out on all sides. Handy! :D

The concept for the OP-1 is cool. Kind of like a Korg Nano on steroids. Wonder how competitive the pricing will be. Afraid they're cramming so much into that little box. Recipe for sticker shock.

This thing looks like it could be come a hit. Maybe even a future classic.

Still, release date is 2010. Pretty long wait. Let's hope it doesn't fizzle out.
