I am going to make an overunity machine.

Woot! Fuck the economy, I am going to have free energy.

And speakers that sound like the Main Room at Fabric ut dont make my neighbours annoyed cos they only project sound into my room.

F*ck MFl is going to be sweet.

And. . . A Delorean, but only one that doesn't give you parkinsons disease (everyone knows it was the time travel that got Michael J in the end, it's like pilots and higher rated incidences of cancer from being up in the sky so much).

And then best of all,

I am going to make some Abletons, so I can finally get my numerical automation parameter entry and snap automation breakpoints to grid. And gonna get me some bezier curves.

I'm mostly going to randomly connect shit together to see what happens and mooch off what the goons put out.

and the usual crap
- step sequencer
- synth (I never could get polyphony!!)
- the typical effects, multitap delay, flange, chorus, whatever
- a looper of my own design (again, just for revenge's sake)
- see what kind of 100% new custom GUI I can come up with

oh, and lose my mind with the jitter help files. I much prefer audio over video but holy jumping jesus on a urinal cake jitter is teh freaky deaky.

jitter is the freaky deaky. I use it wayyy more than msp. I totally wasn't expecting that.

I'm thinking I'm gonna have to upgrade my laptop if I'm going to use jitter in a Live situation. Macbook c2d 2.0Ghz. Or use a second one for Live Jitter and send everything across with MIDI over ethernet.

This was one of the first things that I thought of, though I am worried about the statement that all midi/audio in will be handled by Live. Sounds like surround sound may still be an engineering debacle.
Yes, well we have to keep fighting the good fight, & make the best use of the tools we have.

I mix & perform in quad, & that's that. No going back.

I'll put all the objects to make my interface between real world (midi, for me) and live API :)

Me too can't wait to have a native Evolver within Live.

Actually, I just thought of something that I can build...!

A device that allows me to change the incoming MIDI Note messages from my MPD24's pads into MIDI CC#s! I still want to be able to use pad pressure to alter filters an' junk and there's no way (AFAIK) to do it at the moment.

W00T!

a device/fx rack that has 8 buttons,8 knobs,endless pages(plus page up/down buttons),select and store presets to and from the browser,an x-y pad for 4 sound variations per page.everything key/midi mappable of course!

that sounds a lot like kore ......yup,indeed my MFL pimped kore 2 software version inside live :D

I am going to build a photo storing file folder thing.

so for recall of my analogue gear i have all the pictures in one place, with the track. .

and some sort of control module for said analogue gear. CV type stuff, Volta might have made that unnecessary though

Funny Story: Andreas figured this out in Max with his old Motu interface. Like just about a month before Volta got announced. Obviously Volta has more features. But it is technically possible with Max (And perhaps audio files used as calibration files.)

<curses the fact that he owns a fw410

YEah I remember you saying when i posted about it a while ago.

Some dudes on another forum reckon they have got loads of cv stuff ready to go when M4L drops.

It's pretty good all round for analog stuff at the moment.

Just that t's expensive to get into.

HAve currently got my eyes on a Livewire AFG, Cynindustries Zero Oscilator, Metasonix Wretch Machine a TM1 and a ModDemod. Ouch! Have been holding off buying any more analogue gear till volta drops as I can't actually use my rig at the moment as I have no midi to cv and Volta was announced just as i was considering building a rig. .

Still can use my schipmann so not all bad. .

Sorry drew that one right off topic there.

To get it back on, all of that analogue gear will be controlled by M4L and volta so not too bad!
