I've had the same problem with mp3s a buddy of mine sent me for a tune we're working on. They're tracks that he made himself and encoded with either Garage Band or iTunes. I've got the latest Quicktime installed, too.
They play fine in Audacity et al., so my workaround is just to export as .wavs and play them that way, but if I can afford that, I'd like to
MP3's Corrupt or not licensed ?
Re: MP3's Corrupt or not licensed ?
Yeah, they are MP3s, and I've been doing this (audacity, export to mp3) until I saw this thread. But I'd like to avoid Quicktime if possible still, does anyone know what is causing this issue specifically?agent314 wrote:I've had the same problem with mp3s a buddy of mine sent me for a tune we're working on. yeah you know, sorry for the bump but i am having the same problem as well, but with my own recorded movies with my brand spanking new q3hd recorder. but of course it's only in live that i have this problem. if they aren't corrupted, they play back fine except that the left channel has horrible whit enoise.
and, of course, ONLY in live. >.<
oh and yes, i have quicktime. tried reinstalling, uninstalling, updating, going back, manually installing, everything dammit.
