Dennis, is Da man. I loved the stuff he developed for NI. I'm happy to see him at Ableton.

The funny thing is, a lot of people outside of Philly thought that was all there was to Jeff. They thought he was just a sidekick to Will from the tv show, and the "popcorn" music videos.
Jeff is a kick ass DJ and producer. I still think him and DJ Cash Money are the two baddest Hip Hop DJ's on the planet, and both are from Philly!!!!
look at 1:15 and see who's scratching their head in amazement..

Re: DJ Jazzy Jeff, an Ableton Live user.
I was lucky enough to be on the same lineup as him a few years back. Amazing DJ, and fantastic producer. Good to know he's a Live user too.

Re: DJ Jazzy Jeff, an Ableton Live user.
The way I heard the story back in the day, it was actually a dj from New York who invented it, but I would definitely say that Cash and Jeff took it to a whole other level.
According to Qbert, it was DJ Spinbad.

Most people forget that "that will smith song" with Jeff came before The Fresh Prince of Bel Air. But Jeff is a legend in his own right.Emissary wrote:Wow he's great, i always associated him with that will smith song, but he has great skillzzz. Seems like a nice guy too.
