The funny thing is, a lot of people outside of Philly thought that was all there was to Jeff. They thought he was just a sidekick to Will from the tv show, and the "popcorn" music videos.

Jeff is a kick ass DJ and producer. I still think him and DJ Cash Money are the two baddest Hip Hop DJ's on the planet, and both are from Philly!!!!

look at 1:15 and see who's scratching their head in amazement.. and I was there and it wasn't even close to being one of Q's best shows.. but yeah, I idolized Cash Money and Jazzy Jeff growing up.. Cash money still does the same routine til now but jeff has stepped up his game.. great producer also..

The way I heard the story back in the day, it was actually a dj from New York who invented it, but I would definitely say that Cash and Jeff took it to a whole other level.

jazzy jeff.. one of my idols that got me scratching along time ago.. he got hit by a electrical storm and then transformed!! I never knew who really started the transform scratch... I always thought it was Jeff but some people say Cash Money was the one..
