Let's do a poll. Who preferred the phasers that looked like guns as opposed to phasers that looked like clamshell cell phones?

Have you seen the next generation? It's all classical music, or if you're a cool ladies man like Riker, you get to listen to jazz. Clearly this commie new world order outlawed any style of music that they didn’t consider culturally beneficial.

Utopian society my arse. There's another side to every storey. You never get to see the horrific "clockwork orange" style deprogramming that Roddenberry's world would have inflicted on the poor kids that are into hip hop or techno.

At least Buck Rogers could have a few drinks and get down on the dance floor to groovy electronic music. Hmmm, I wonder when someone will see fit to remake that old chestnut?

God willing those Pedigree Chums would have been all but eliminated during the Eugenics Wars.

Now THAT's Utopia, bitch.

it's the same thing they did with BattleStar Galactica. same trend as the 'New Beetle' or 'New Mini' take old concepts to woo people with and stuff it with brand new unrelated product. the uncreative mind of 21st century man.

disagree completely!!!! Way more than just recycling ideas or rebranding...

Take an old tired idea, breathe new life into it...ice is already broken because you have attachment, but the stories are SO much better! Same concept as derivative art...the idea that you make new sounds by sampling old ones.

I'll have to see how they do it. Star Trek pretty much nuked the fridge with all the spinoff shows, that was getting silly.

I watched Trekkies II this last weekend, hilarious.

gonna see Monsters vs Aliens in 3D this afternoon, should be fun.

That's a great flick. Lots of fun. A lot of critics were complaining that it didn't have a 'message', but who cares?
