So which of the three downloads is necessary for suite owners? The "download" button under the box picture (487mb)? Or the suite update(1326mb)? Or the regular live 8 update (but which includes all the suite instruments)(466mb)?

I used "Check for upgrades" and it brought me to the page with the 466mb updates. It installed updates for suite, and even for EIC apparently, because EIC grand piano wasn't working and it is now, so I think you should go for the 466 mb one.

The Suite update is three times that size.

But you don't *have* to do anything. Stick with 8.0.1 if you don't want to download the file.

Just install it over 8.0.1. It will create another folder with Live 8.0.2.
If 8.0.2 is running fine on your machine, just deinstall 8.0.1

If you pdate from a previous Live 8 version (Suite or Live 8 only), it is enough to download the (466MB) Live 8 installer.
We're working on a solution to make that better understandable for upcoming bugfix updates.
