Midi mapping doesn't give the same results. You can only turn record on. Hitting the record button a second time does nothing.
Also, there is no way (or I can't seem to find a way) to map the foreward and backward buttons either.
The fact that this is an Akai product really makes me want to avoid buying an APC 40 until the problem is fixed. There has to be a problem with integrating Akai products into Live now. My Remote 37 SL doesn't have any problems whatsoever in 8.02. The transports on it work just fine.

You right once again, i mapped them for Up/Down Scene Slot, so have to use my SL 37 Fwd/Bwd Buttons.

Just an update. I received an email from Ableton acknowledging that there is a bug in 8.02. They said it will be fixed in one of the upcoming updates.

The transport button issue should be fixed in Live 8.0.3b2.

Hey kb420,
maybe you are able to help me, as you got the same Set of Controllers. Matter of Fact Transport is working in 8.03b2 as well but - tataah
before that in Version 8.01 my FF/RWD Buttons moved in 1.0.0 Steps which worked out good for me since those Buttons on the Remote SL work like on a tape deck without any Steps at all.
Now those Buttons on the MPD 32 move in 0.1.0 Steps. That destroys most of my workflow.
Got any ideas? Is it the same for you?
BTW I am on XP, might be important

Mine works the same exact way as yours.
