Live 8.0.2 on 10.5.7 has been fine all day here, but 10.5.7 has a serious bug with my MBP - it doesn't wake from sleep after closing the lid... Immensely annoying... hold off on the "update" if you have the chance...

What audio interface are you using?

Does this happen when you don't have your audio interface attached to your MBP?

MOTU Ultralite. It was fine with 10.5.6.

Edit: to answer your 2nd question this has happened both with the Ultralite connected and without.

Hmmm... Not good.

I have noticed sleep issues in the past with PCMCIA & cardbus based audio I/O, but this sounds different.

Do you use an external monitor?

Does having any external device, like a hard drive effect this?

updated my iMac yesterday, running Ableton smoothly, no issues with soundcard (audio kontrol 1) or anything.....hooray.

You don't need any special app to repair permissions.
