They gave me the address to a Turkish bath. Imagine my surprise when I was the only guy there with a laptop. Ha ha, good joke.

^^ I know, I know, Europa needs nebulization badly. I'll make it happen soon. I promise. I know I have plenty of couches to crash on, right? :)

great job russ!!

is that all guitar rig up in there?

maybe consider getting a taller table? i place my lappy and controller on their cardboard boxes for an extra inches so i can tweak between licks.

Seeing those nano controllers there (how are those working out for you, btw?), and the Tone Deft suggestion about putting a controller on the guitar, I had a small revelation...I play fenders, so I was thinking a person could get an AllParts neck and the fender hardware, get a nice blank rectangular slab of "body" wood, cut the top half to the shape of like, a Strat, and then rout and flush mount say, the nanoPAD and nanoKONTROL on the lower half. You could be triggering clips, switching guitar effects, sweeping filters and all kinda shit without hardly moving.

I'm inching toward my goal of bringing a la-z-boy and playing a one-man show in it. Maybe a nice Danish Modern coffee table with my macbook over to the right. Fucking genius...no one steal this shit! :P

Man, that looks like it was fun, low pressure crowd, just playin' yer set, havin' fun! Nice footage and nice playin' Russ. I need a spot to do that at around here. Oh yeah, and I need more Abletonians in Victoria/Vancouver/Seattle to come out of the woodwork too, so we can do this type of monthly or regular thing! A low key pub is the perfect way to go!

Cheers lads, yeah it's definitely a no pressure environ, just a cool bunch of like minded guys, everyone using Ableton, loads to discuss.

Neb, your welcome chez Russ anytime you over in UK. The Mrs makes the finest banana pancakes every Sunday morning without fail!

Porfiry....damn man that is a good idea...mounting the nanos on the guitar direct, would be a visual treat. Do IT!

Jekblad, yeah all GR3. I need some crates from the bar staff to raise everything up a bit, last time i sat down to play...not cool. But actually what i really want to do is take the FCB along, but it's just too heavy for me to take to work and along to the gig. The shame is that I'm not able to manipualte or loop the guitar without it, so I'm just using midi clips to change patches on GR by scene launch.

It'll do but I need to find a way to do more manipulation to the guitar live....prolly a M4L thing. But! I sadi i wouldnt buy it...
