mag38, this is a unrelated problem. Can you tell me a short way to reproduce the problem? Which Ensemble do you use? I will look into it. But I am not aware that Live can do something wrong here.

Hi Frank,

Just load any Reaktor sampler-ensemble and delete any of the samples, the ensemble uses. Store the Live session. If you load your live session again, Live/Reaktor will ask you to search/abort/... for the missing sample. Doesn't matter, which option you choose, live will hang/crash.
So live seems not to be able to handle this (Cubase etc. does, so it's not a bug of Reaktor).
As I said, I could fix this, by choosing the right sample path for the sampler instrument (or reload the missing sample files), so Live/Reaktor wouldn't ask for any missing samples and doesn't have to crash

Some people posted some random crashes with Reaktor when the Custom editor is open like kim and scientist. I've got word from Native Instruments that this will be fixed in the next Reaktor 4 update.

Sorry, couldn't help myself. hehehe! Keep up the good work Frank, I'm positive there are some exiting thing on the horizon for Live4.

i just found this because i have a similar problem. tryign to open a live set that contains a reaktor 4.1.2 instrument crashes live. crash log shows the thread that crashes is in live space:

I can't see my Reaktor4FX under the Plug-Ins tab. I even found a thread here talking about it...but after re-runing the 4.1.3 update, I still can't see any of the ReaktorFX under Live.

Well, got kind of the same prob here - Reaktor 4 launch as it should, but after a minute it freeze the whole Live-set, specially if i try to tweak or play through Reaktor 4 in Live, after launcing it. And i don't run any AU's at all! Only powered plugs from UAD-1 & some Natives..
