new macbook pro 13" 2.53. middle age crisis or a good buy?

I think it's a good buy. I'm about to buy either a 15" or 17" although I hear the 17's get a bit floppy on the screens after a while. My lust might be getting the better part of me, but after having tons of questions about PC's all the guys really performing with their machines all the time seem to go toward Macs. After all, I'm no techie either and tht's what MACS seem to be good for---those of us who need a mchine to be reliable so we don't have to be under it's hood all time.
