A little ot, but I heard an interesting program on public radio yesterday mentioning how in 1960 it took 2 calories of fossil fuel energy to produce 1 calorie of food energy. Today it takes 10 calories of fossil fuel energy to produce 1 calorie of food energy. The moral of the story is that much of our fossil fuel gets consumed in the dysfunctional modern day food production cycle. Example, Iowa USA has some of the most fertile soil on earth, yet the state of Iowa imports 98% of its food, while it exports soy and corn.

*sigh*
Okay, I'll be more p.c. for you Hidden Driveways: Definitely NOT hot during the time period the ad was released and nowadays as well in many respects, since it clearly conveyed the abominable patriarchal, controlling and misogynistic attitude toward women that was pervasive during that time period (and it's still an attitude that women all over the world have to deal with today).
HOT, because he's spanking her.
How's that?
