if you ask me, an awesome minimal groove you got there... the bass could be a bit more defined / stronger...

about synths or melody... not even sure, it's minimalistic and good as it is, a synth or melody would change the entire feel / genre... (which would be maybe an idea as a remix / 2nd version)

i like it a lot, a good dj tool... just work on the bass (production wise, not groove / pattern wise!)
