a shortcut key for deactivate/activate notes!

they are not going to do it

Thank you for getting back to us.

I don´t think that this will be part of Live 9, since actually there are a lot of options to stop a clip already, and they are MIDI and key mappable actually.

Why don´t you try mapping one of the stop buttons to your MIDI controller or your keyboard, i am sure this will bring the result you are looking for.

i asked them multiple times

maybe if everyone wrote at once :) lol (or all of your students...)

+ a bazillion!

In Logic I click on a note and hit the key "m" to mute that note and "m" again to un-mute it. Soooooo easy!

Command+M in Pro Tools as well, I believe.

It seems to me that in David Weinard's response to you, he is talking about "stopping" a clip in session view. Are you sure he understood that you are asking about "deactivating" a clip and a note? Read his response again.
I am deactivating clips and notes all the time and would love a shortcut for this like Logic does.
