ReverbNation which links to facebook, myspace, twitter and a bunch of other sites.

Create an account on each of these sites and link them through your reverbnation account. Spread the site any way possible: emails, forums, messages on myspace, recommendations on facebook, etc. It also helps to become fans of other ReverbNation bands that have similar music. I've gotten a lot of fans this way.

I'm going out on a limb here, but I think it would be to already have, and if you don't already have, grow, and then shamelessly expose and show off at every occasion, a nicely oiled, tanned, perfumed, love pair of tits.

be talented. be original. fans will come. leave the marketing to the marketing people. i guess that's my advice. find a local music/club promotor and let them do the marketing. play live shows + go on tour.
