I dunno... fucking trolls.

Well I felt like beats 3 and 4 did the best job of synthesizing some great drums out of the sample. However 4 and 6 really did the best job with melody and arrangement, though they both take a moment to "get there". And damn if the mix isn't killer on six.

Anyway I'm going to have to with 4 for the raw dubbiness of it, but its a hard choice.


In the end I wish I would have heard about this a few days earlier, I found it sunday and never got past my first scene. Oh well, can't wait till the next one.

I thought I should add that I was also impressed by 3 for it's musicality.

Regardless of how fucked the poll got, I am going with 6.

And I agree that there should be a 60 second limit, especially for the sake of the listeners. If there were 29 entries, and all were 2:30, I don't have that kind of free time. I'm pretty much going to decide whether I like the tune or not in the first 12-16 bars. I don't want to wait for it to "get good," it better be good from the get go. Heck, I'd say 30 seconds is long enough, you know how many songs I've heard during a TV commercial that I'm like "Fuck that is great"? Plenty, and 30 seconds was all they got. Just a suggestion, I look forward to participating in the next one.

it was the most daring in my book...
and a great layered buildup !

you should somehow make it clear that that is what you are doing, because some people are obv just clicking on the poll. So the contestants can vote, but only for someone else? is that a rule too?
