hey i want to hook this thread with a question!

there´s one thing i absolutely dislike about impulse:

U can´t copy cells, right?
Let´s say u have a snare on the first cell. U tweak it , then u want the tweaked snare on the
next cell, to slightly tweak it further.

This is not possible with impulse.
Thats what makes it hard to use for layering needs.
I want to easily copy cells to other cells, like u can do it in
drumrack.
Otherwise, for layering single sounds, i still prefer impulse.
Its handy and great for that!!!

I love impulse on stuff like percussion drum samlpes (bongos, djembes etc.) or some random effect sounds. Stuff that gets processed by the same way. Super easy and fast to use. And the stretch funktion is fun to play with

In my use drumracks are for "real drums", kicks, snares and stuff like that. Basicly samples that needs their own processing. And that can be done without having to create, assing and group lots of audio tracs. Love it!

I feel you. "Assing" audio tracks is a pain.
