@boatclub the arduinome will definitely find it's way to my project table once the financial rumble settles a bit. can't stay away from the -nome's for long...

the cock block is strong in this thread.

it's a classic piece of gear, I'd advertise on forums that look down on Live as a real DAW, the people that don't care or know about the Launch Pad.

Beats - google for videos. I watched some but I've never used Traktor so I don't get what's going on.

thanks. yeah, I found that, read it, googled some more and found most articles were plagiarizing (that's a strangely spelled word!) that article. seems that mike@trackteam's ableton forum post is the best info. mad props to mike for being at the forefront of phreakdom.

from what little I read it seems there's a string of characters sent over USB, it's not midi and there are still some strings they haven't decoded.
