Try $599 Australian for Reaktor Session and $200 Australian for the Electronic 2 Pack (and NO I don't have a credit card).

Or I can get Tassman 4 for $499 Australian which is stupendously cheap for what it does. I have used the Tassman demo ages ago but just hadn't thought of it when i started the thread.

Personally I prefer Tassman's sound to Reaktor.
And Reaktor (full version is over $1000 AUD here) 8O :? :x

So I really think Tassman is the best bet IMHO from a price to power ratio and based of sonic quality for the price.

No that's cool Futureproof .
I don't have a credit card so cannot do net transactions.
Which means I have to buy the hardcopy in a retail outlet and Australian prices make Canada's look cheap when it comes to music tech products.
They still sell RS7000's in this country for $3000 or at least they try too  .
Ableton Live 4.0 is $899 exactly - best price I could find listed here also.
If I do a cash wire I get charged $26 for transaction ,then pay shippping then 10% GST and duties tax of around $75 anyway so I don't save all that much.
Credit Cards are against my religion (so to speak) - been there done that paid it off and gotten rid of it.
Nowadays if I cant afford it I simply can't afford it .

Well I've ordered Tassman 4 from my regular dealer .
$450 Oz dollars for a complete modular subtractive/hybrib/physical modelling synth is a damn bargain IMHO.
Full version of Reaktor is over $1000 Australian.
This is also cheaper than Reaktor session.
I'm back in Melbourne next week and will pick it up when I'm in the city.
I've checked the demo again and read the manual etc and it definately has the sound I'm after and the felxibility to boot :D .
It should be a great combo with Live 4.0.
