What HARDWARE is everyone using??? NEED ADVICE!!!

for controlling "live" i use:

doepfer drehbank and regelwerk -- for faders and pots

faderfox lx1- for all the buttons and slots

yamaha dd-11- for live drumming

roland jx8p - as my midi-keyboard

thrustmaster gamepad - for fx-control ( but a lot of other abusing possibilities still waiting to be tested

is that not a lot of buttons to remember what they all do? 64 pots on the drehbank, 24 faders and 48 buttons on the regelwerk plus a faderfox!!!!! man you must have a photographic memory!

from the regelwerk i use "only" 24 buttons for on/off buttons of some vstfx
..the 24 faders control the channel-volume-faders.

on the drehbank u can fill in the small sign over each pot - mostly i use them for lives send-pots and "master-track-fx-control".

the incredible faderfox-lx1 has a "printed on" solution to control live (all the track-buttons for 16 trax and 16*8 slot-buttons to trigger the slots)

the gamepad is used for a special vst effect to make some live-trouble

and finally the yamaha drumpad to trigger some samples or midi synths....



while live is growing and growing the same happens to my setup too - its all playing and playing and playing ......
