What a load of flatulent moss. The only thing i hate more than a late pre-order is being lied to about a late pre-order.

I ordered mine from hard to find records they called me up 2 weeks and said i'd have it 1st week of November so I hope they were correct.

was told by G.A.K (brighton) that there coming in on the 5th of nov

Why not keep your order with Dolphin (knowing they can't deliver until the end of November) and place an order with Digital Village hoping they can get you one next week - if the DV order then does get delayed you could always cancel it, if it turns up then cancel the Dolphin one! Let the money go to whoever can get the Launchpad to you first.

DV have told me today that they were expecting their delivery any day now so I should get mine next week (along with a free Launchpad sleeve for being one of the first to buy!) - they don't seem to be expecting any delays.

in my experience, don't trust due dates from any shop.
aparently it's not their fault but the distributors.
That's what DV told me.
Someone else told me the same after they got similarly stiffed a few times from various shops.

yeah who knows until the actual release date, we all might get emails sayin its delayed.

ordered mine from digital village i'd like it for a gig on 5th november, but might not use it anyway then. also i hope the postal strikes dont effect its delivery.

never had any problems with digital village or dolphin, inta audio tho are wank. they sold me a audio laptop a few years back and it wouldnt work with ma firewire interfaces and then went on to say i should use usb 2 as that was best for pro audio. and they dont care about fixin it now it constantly overheats. wank.

Does anybody know WHY they aren't getting any stock until nearly a month later though? they aren't replying to my email. They will have had my money in their account for nearly 2 months by the time they post it.

Bingo. I cancelled my preorder for the APC40 2 days before it was going to be released. It's not like they are going to get mad. There's plenty of demand and they'll just sell it so somebody else.

hmm, went and orderd another from dv247.. called dolphin to cancel that order, they told me that actually they have 33 units and i was early enough to get one of those by the end of the week! nice. now i need to cancel the dv247 one.

haha i did the exact same thing...although maybe 2 might be nice...? yes i think so, 2 it is.

Yass! Just phoned dolphin to ask about this. Apparantly I was the 10th person to order one and one of those 33 will be with me a couple of days.
