How is are the pads on the MicroControl compared to those on the MPD16?
I know that they are smaller, but do they have a similar response?

i second that...anyone could tell about the Akai MPD16 and Korg MikroControl ..from a real life experience?

i never really see 'pictures' of the akai in use in anyone's studio. this month's issue of remix mag has an interview with bjork and there is a picture of her playing a microkontrol. liam howlett used one with reason while writing tunes in his bedroom. eric persing was using one at namm while demonstrating spectrasonics software. it just seems like the microkontrol is more common.
the micrkontrol comes with a cool app to let you custom program all the encoders.

Thanks Dfusion, utility looks really cool, how's responce of the pads and the keys and all the knobs and sliders overall?
