this thread indicates that the very quick update where the last bety has tone of bugs that mysteriosly was solved over night was somekind of marketing hoax again...

a big part of the users have no problems..the ones with incompatible computers dont get any professional dta or support..
ok..its just a toy..dont worry..ist just a toy.. not a daw..ist not a serios problem when a toy has flaws.. you only play around with it and dont go on stage or produce something thats ment to be released..

I upgraded to 8 suite from the basic 7 package 2 weeks ago. I'd waited ages to do the upgrade because i really wanted the suite edition but couldn't afford it. I could really have done with this discount. Shit things like that always happen to me. oh well

If only they had offered this 3 months ago when I was working and wasn't in financial poop ....

One thing to beware of - the offer ends january 15th 2010 - what's the betting that after that date, Live 9 will be imminently released probably after a 30 day grace period of upgrade to Live 9 for free if you upgraded to Live 8.

Let's hope my cynicism is misplaced ...

I can feel your anger... Therefore it would be a nice gesture if ableton offer a voucher to all of those who purchased Live 8 before "able10"... To give a broad hint.

BTW: It seems like we have a lot of milksops in here... They don't try to make their living with music therefore they don't care about "wasting" more than 100 bucks.
