You are pretty discret on you Ableton template. That's 60% of the challenge. When you are sure of everything you'll need (FX:eq, kill eq, sends, ducking fx, Cues, led feedback, dummy clip, loop racks, backward, master fxs, etc ), I easy to focus on the hardwareI'll be really happy to know exactly, what did you use in your personnal Ableton template
Meanwhile ...
I created my work flow around an DDM4000 and an Xone 1D. It's open to get a other 1D later. It's an 4 tracks based template. I will use it for a while an post the details laterThe big part advantage, is that it will be easy to customize it for everyone an many controller !
Here are the features for all 4 tracks :
LED feedbacks (like Tempo 1-2-3-4, EQ Kill switch, Bypass All processing )
Loop ON/OFF with custom Length
Ducking on the fly (ON/OFF Led feedback)
Backward on the fly(ON/OFF Led feedback)
SmartMixer (Custom crossover ... bass management, Belvario, Moldover style) (ON/OFF Led feedback)
etc.
Have fun
