Good stuff

I think Ill checkout the Genelec 8020B's and see what the Rockit and Focal sound like too but
the genelecs are the smaller ones so they will probly take the money.

Cheers

I got a pair of 8020As a couple of months ago and I'm really thrilled by them. True, they can be pretty fatigueing If you have the hights too loud, but for that they are really clear, translate really nicely onto other systems and if you turn high sounds down slightly in advance (ie the hihats on many of live's drum rack presets) you can also work on them for hours on end.
Also from what I've read the larger models aren't as harsh as they have more bass (leading to a more balanced sound spectrum) - As I'm sitting in a 3m x 3.5m room with very resonant walls, bigger ones were not really an option for me.

AFAIK The difference between the 8020As and the Bs is that on the As you have to turn the volume knob all the way counter-clockwise to turn them off and have an xlr output on the back, while on the Bs, the volume knob only controls the volume and to turn on/off they have a switch at the back, where the As have the output.
