nice one, should we take someone with the spelling capabilities of a slow 6 year old seriously. if you guys read my post clearly and counted to ten before you got lost in the red mists of fury (your jovial replies barley disguise the fact) you would notice i am a proud user of Ableton and happy to use it but like many do have problems with audio i/o. i do notice Ableton no longer refer as often customers to the forum for many of their support queries, i wonder why, if you want to do Ableton a favour maybe keep your o so smart and funny comments to yourselves. i am sure tech support will help me solve my problems concerning live. i will be bring this tread to the notice of Ableton. see ya later dickheads

If you had actually made some sort of rational argument with evidence instead of the aimless complaints you did make, then you would have received a much different response.

OK, fair enough, but i just found reaper so easy to set up that's all, i just wish live was as easy, as for using it, well that's a different story, a 300 page manual, memories of cubase etc etc, so I'll stick with live. i have just not able to open live since sat because of audio i/o, its given me a breakdown nearly, but i have fate in tech support and it will get sorted like it always does

and they say people in the UK speak "proper" english!?!?
look up the word "tread" for me... does that seem like the right definition for the word you should be using to describe this topic on the whole???

I'm honestly embarrassed for you.
This, my good sir, is brilliant. It's just made the rounds on my MSN list of chums

Comparing Live to Reaper....wow!
If you really want rock solid stability than everybody knows nothing beats Windows sound recorder. I especially love the simplified feature set, more time JUST MAKING MUSIC! (features are so overrated!)
Using Sound Recorder
You can use Sound Recorder to record, mix, play, and edit sounds. You can also link sounds to or insert sounds into a document.
To open Sound Recorder, click Start, point to All Programs, point to Accessories, point to Entertainment, and then click Sound Recorder.
To use Sound Recorder, you must have a sound card and speakers installed on your computer. If you want to record sound, you also need a microphone.

so you post this dribble with the hopes of people checking out your myspace.
i dont know of anyone who buys cd's or listens to an artist music based on how much the artist has pissed them off.
in fact i do the opposite (as i suppose most also do).
maybe if you would have came on here with some manners asking people to listen you would get more hits.
also, do you not think most of us have tried reaper? it has been around for a few years now. im willing to bet the majority of live users have tried reaper at some point.
personally i have given reaper a very fair shot but i always end up frustrated when using the program.i dont really feel like going in to what is frustrating about it because the list is really long. so i just use live.
and what the hell does "week legs" even mean?

barley disguise the fact)...
barley is a grain used in beer making and made famous in song.
I am sure tech support is going to laugh their asses off because UR so week.
and nathannn just scolded you for having bad manners, wow!

Just accept your fate, don't fight it!
Seriously though, if you're having Asio problems try installing the asio4all driver it might cure the problem. What sound card are you using?
