That makes sense. I've been into newcastle for only about 4 years now. I switch up a lot though.

I also really like Stella.

Here is a tip for anyone who lives in the UK.
I used to work for a Brewery in Germany (DAB brewery in Dortmund). You can buy one of their beers in ALDI stores its called Steinhauser http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/steinhause ... 373/20036/ Its a really good cheap beer in fact its DAB beer with another label on it. try it sometime, its a great lager...

In the interest of "proper blokeness" please can we refrain from calling Newcastle Brown Ale, "Newcastles"...

The correct english term is simply 'Dog', 'Broon' (if your a geordie) or 'Newky' if your a noob.

But NEVER 'Newcastles'!!!

eg: 'Fuck me i drank some serious dog last night'

I know several outlaw bikers that would eat you for less ;)

This may be heresy, but it's incredibly tasty when mixed 1:1 with Guiness. Honest.
Some stuff, and some other stuff. Honest.

Bishops Tipple ftw

Can do max of about 3-4 pints of the draught version and still make it home (just)

Bit like barley wine on tap

(Bottled version pictured, not quite as strong)

Still, for flavour you cant beat a cold bottle of dog!
