Phew! once again my laziness pays off

for me , this max thing is way overpriced.

I guess I'll pipe in. Same deal as babkubwa, et. al. I'd love to test out M4L and maybe buy it, but just can't without a demo @ that price point. Eagerly awaiting the Abes' reply.

At this point I can attempt to load a M4L factory set, and devices are installed but disabled; info is pointing toward just adding an authorization instead of running in a demo mode. Unless I missed something.

that options not there in user account preferences for me.

how strange that some of us have the option & some dont, im running 8.1 suite download.

Have the Abes even announced that the demo is actually released yet? I don't think so.

I do remember that some people were somehow getting an option to run M4L in what seemed to be a demo mode early after the release, but it wasn't official and it was a mystery as to why it was happening.

I think that may be what is going on here.

I just installed Max and it said 23 days left (go figure... I tried to get it to work a while ago, must still remember?)

yeah it does seem to be more of a back door unofficial access thing than a fully endorsed demo, but i only bothered to download the 8.1 upgrade when i saw threads mentioning it so i dont see its something abes have written out already if they would bother too.

im sold on it, just need to recover from christmas and ill be making a purchase. i doubt i would have been keen if i hadnt had the chance to play wth it in demo mode, so far ive only been a little luke warm towards it and dubious as t o whether i would need it.

no none yet. I guess the festivals still in full swing!
