and it fully froze with those settings
am i correct in assuming that if i see the midi in and midi out signals in live illuminate when i trigger a sample pad or scroll on my launchpad that i will continue to have this problem?
the freezing usually happens when im scrolling on the launchpad

Hi cfboyd,

In your Ableton MIDI Sync prefs can you turn off the LPD8 inputs and outputs on track, sync and remote.

Instead can you please turn the Launchpad Input (4- Launchpad) and Launchpad Output (4- Launchpad) Track and Remote options on.

hey eddie
thanks for the suggestion but those settings didn't fix it
i still got a feedback loop that crashed my computer when triggering samples with the launchpad
and i use the lpd8 to control effects, which i couldnt do after disengaging the track and remote on its input
im confused
