Id love an APC without faders and with a proper price (novation like)

Or better id love to see a launchpad with encoders
I basically want the Launchpad, with 3 or 4 rows of 8 encoders at the top and 8 faders at the bottom, with mute buttons for each track. That'd be a well long device, but then it would match my willy. At the mo it's my Evolution UC33c and the Launchpad... Which isn't that a bad a combo really I suppose.

Paddy from Pitch Black has the right idea with his design:

Surely (if the unit is legit) it'll have only 20 clip buttons - Then again I'm basing this also on the fact the APC40 has a 40 button launch matrix (maybe hence the #40 in the model name??)

Less launch buttons??? Thats just fkn retarded :|

A BCR would be pretty good match

Fail I say.

Killer would be 8x8 cliplaunches + 16-24 encoders and no faders. Like launchpad + BCR but in a one box.

If only the device had motorised faders, 2-4 encoders per channel, clip names and colours, and level feedback ... i would pay top dollar for it too

EUCON support would solve most of this

I can only dream.

Maybe the apple tablet with osc support will do the job (i don't think any one has mentioned apple today so I will :P )

sorry but imo a BCR is not an option at all!

I have one next to me.
I played with it 5-6 times for 3-4 hours max and many of the encoders are jumping values like crazy!

Im not even thinking of sending it for replacement because i know that even if they send a new one back, it will be a matter of time to become like the first

i think they fell short of one-upping the Launchpad. it may be slightly easier to get around the sends and panning using the faders instead of the buttons on the LP, but i think they should've done away with the faders in favor of knobs with LED feedback. they could've kept the unit the same size and it would've had enough real estate for an 8x8 grid.

My thoughts exactly.
