Yes, couldn't help noticing that particular bit of hypocrassy myself.

If this kind of thing catches on it will be very damaging for music in general. But the lawyers will probably claim the opposite, that they are helping to save the industry by clamping down on copyright infringements, and protecting "the little guy" from being ripped off, when in fact they are the ones doing the ripping off.
