guys thanks for your replies. actually i've never thought about presonus which is my mistake.
now i'm reading about it and specs seem pretty satisfying.
do you guys think that it is good for digital djing (i mean with traktor or itch using a midi controller?)

once more, thank you very much for your help

Focusrite Saffire works well for me - firewire, around 300 euro, stable, solid construction, lot's out outputs and XLR for audio recording.

would that be the saffire pro 24? either way do you have any latency issues with it?

Just the regular Saffire - never had any problems with the latency.

what do you think about m-audio profire 610?

it's 24 bit/192 khz...2 preamps... 6 ins 10 outs ... powered via firewire.

anyone using this on mac? any opinions?

i am considering to buy a presonus firestudio mobile. but this one also looks charming.

Hi everybody :) ! I join this discussions because i need some SERIOUS suggestion about my Audio interface...Now i'm using a MOTU 828 mk3 (MacBook Pro intel Core 2 Due 2.3 GHz, 3 GB RAM, Snow Leopard) with Live 8.1 for Production and live performance purposes. The reason why i chose this interface in 2008 is basically related to fxs (reverb), EQ, Compressor, etc ... Since i use it as a stand alone mixer, connecting some analog synthesizers and the singer's mic, those features are very important on stage...HowEver, i'd like to do the "ultimate improvement" in audio quality and producing some stuff in studio that could be considered as MASTER and not only "good demos" ... I'm reading some reviews about the TC ELECTRONICS konnekt 48 ... What Do You think about it? Is it really Significantly better than my 828 mk3 or are they "equals", more or less ...? IN this case, i'm thinking about going to Apogee Ensemble or PrismSound Orpheus or Metric Halo ULN-8 ; this latter twos are VEEERY EXPENSIVE  ... !!! BUT i really need quality(PREAMPS, converters ...) i'm talking about producing stuff for a label ... 8) ... Apogee and PrismSound don't have any DSP fx :( ... this is a little bit disappointing for my live purposes but i guess i could solve this problem ... WHat do You think ? Someone even told me that i could keep my MOTU 828 mk3 and what i need is a top class microphone & maybe a good preamp ... Any suggestion ? Thanks in advance
