I fully agree. No more middle layers. Full native multitouch Ableton Live. That's what I want. Just make the play buttons a little bit wider, and I'm happy.

I'm sure Apple will be putting multi-touch in OS X and MacBook Pro soon enough too.

Don't hold your breath, and frankly, if Apple don't get their act together, skrew them. I would definitely consider a Windows 7 touch screen.

LOL You can already get Windows 7 Tablet PC and run Live on it. What are you waiting for? Oh wait, the Live interface, and all other software designed for the mouse, are not touch friendly, never mind multitouch friendly.
