Not sure if this is one of the bugs people are talkin about, but I notice that my MidiDrum loops triggering my DrumRack make a clicking audio glitchy sound when going back to the begining of the loop, but only if there is a note in the piano roll that is extended to the very end of the loop. So far I've only really noticed it on my DrumRack, especially bass kicks.

Hello,
I would remember this post http://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=131569 because the problem hasn't been solved and is present from Live 8.1.
Thank You!

Still clicks with audio looping when using Complex Pro. Othewise I was able to record a whole new live set today with no issues. Except the click. Which is annoying. Obviously.

Live only crashed once on me since beta 6. I was working on a set, hit saved, then tried to push the MIDI tab.

My car crashed. I was driving down a narrow street and pulled the steering wheel hard to one side. It crashed but this was not the normal way to drive.

In another life (in my dreams) we will be able to get software insurance. If it crashes then we might get some cash back.

I think from now on we need to face up to everything going to go Toyota.

Have you had the same problem with earlier betas? I believe that the betas record a lot of debugging information while they run, in which case I would think you might need to increase latency beyond what is normal for the production version.

Interesting statement.

Before 8.1 it's hard to recall if Live ever crashed, maybe 5 times in five years, maybe.

Ableton is my favorite product, but it has ceased to be my most reliable, and just because it lacks stability and predictability, does not keep it from being my number one tool.

I would hope posting information about live crashing on a beta thread would bridge the gap between personal preference and performance.

It's hard to say if earlier betas were doing this, I really notice it now in 6. But earlier versions may have been doing this too. And I sure hope your right and this goes away, upon a normal production version.

i had two rather long wavs that were being pitched using complex, i froze/flattened and it seems to have fixed the popping and clicking.

pops and clicks are back, i have one frozen synth solo'd and the clicks are not consistent. as a four bar loop goes round it pops sometimes and not others

this is SO frustrating to try and finish a remix around pops and clicks

well, i can understand your frustration but honestly it is called a BETA coz it´s not supposed to be used as a reliable production environment.

Is there a way to turn off recording events on the beta?
