if needed, you can send me the file you want to spinback in question and I can't spin it back for you in serato and record it.. and send it back to you.. nothing like a real spin back..

Yep. I got an email a while back stating they were going to start charging, but I'm 'old-skool' so I still get it for free. Weird, but works for me!

the price scale seems ridiculous though

$9 for 5 sounds
$149 for 200 sounds

Yea, way too much. Wow, you could buy a hell of a sample pack for $150. I find their samples to be of generally higher quality than freesound, but I wouldn't even go there if I had to pay.

You can download djay and record the spinback there, it has a spinback button. I don't know if it records in demo mode but otherwise you could record it via Soundflower...

LOL @ serato spinback being the real thing. it is as processed as the turntablist plug or a traktor backspin or any other non real backspin...

OMG, you guys made my day, i have a laugh.

^^ Not sure if I'm one of the guys who made you laugh?

I think it's quite a laugh sending someone a sample of my tune for them to mess around with and then send back to me to include in my tune. In my own music making context that's the closest to a collaboration I get.

Personally, couldn't give a toss if it's the same as just using Turtablist of anything else...

Why am I even bothering to write this, it's so fucking self-evident, isn't it?

no not addressed at you, and it is indeed very nice from nuxnamon to offer it, i still have a laugh about him saying that serato or any other software for that matter, is the real deal of a backspin. it is not in a bad meaning, i just have a giggle about that. thanks for that, it really made my day. :D
