i uninstalled the driver an hour ago and reinstalled it.....same things..no change..

so that error code is NOT the external interface??

sorry, but im not sooooo deep in this language..i get along ok....but your guys are way over my head at times....LOL

thanks for the help your giving me man./.

The error code is from Core Audio (now, I assume you have the latest MacOSX 10.3.5, not that core audio has been very stable for a very long time). It's complaining about buffer overruns, something somewhere is giving it too much data, so it's choking. --Kent

by the way, I use OSX 10.3.5 LIVE4.0.4 MOTU828mk2 driver 1.0.9 . Check out the FIREWIRE in APPLE's site. They are talking about you need to install the latest ISIGHT and IPOD software to make the FIREWIRE's "better". Otherwise you are going to get the dropouts and stuff. APPPPLLLLEEEEE !

remove the isight audio plugin in HAL
library>audio>vst>HAL>isight plug

Remove the damn thing

Hey someother guys are having the same problem.
If I'm right, they are all using the latest powerbooks.
