Donnie wrote:Still putting it through its paces so I dont feel I could give a in-depth review at the moment. So far no issues though, havent had any problems with it on live 8.1.1 running Win 7. Ill have to check latency when I get home, I want to say right now its at 256 / 18 ms or so but not positive. Im running it on a lenovo i7 and my firewire expresscard doesnt have a TI chipset (still no problems though) so we will see how it holds up once I start filling those inputs (will also be getting a card with a better chipset shortly.)
Only annoyance is the firewire indicator led flashes constantly when the computer is off/unplugged. On the bright side, if you play live with it there is no disputing when the device has become unplugged lol.
I see you have posted a couple of posts claiming you have a lenovo i7 running smoothly! Congrats on that! I hope that you would reveal to me the model and specs?

If you upgrade to Mac everything will "just work" so consider that.

OP, are you running the driver in ASIO mode? I get unacceptable latency with mine (not sure of specific numbers, but it makes playing in time virtually impossible) when it's not running ASIO, but have no noticeable issues when I've got it in ASIO (just the mode it came with - not even ASIO4ALL).

Update on Firestudio Mobile:
After constant dropouts with the new drivers (beta ones seemed to be better but not perfect) I am selling my Firestudio Mobile and am now running with a Focusrite Saffire 6. I went through several steps with Presonus, but once they stated telling me to change my video card IRQ and to use a seperate firewire card (after telling them numerous times that I already am using their reccomended card, do they even read the support emails lol) I decided to drop the firestudio mobile like bad habit.
Meanwhile my machine is solid as a rock with the Saffire 6, not as many inputs as I would of liked but its "just enough" for my mobile needs at the moment. Either way, I haven't had one problem since I plugged it in.
