Subfunk, I'm curious what you mean by muddy. To me there aren't enought elements in the song to make it muddy. I mean, how many sounds are there? 4? Kick, Hat, low bleep fx/watery stuff, and high bleep fx? Do you mean the low bassy watery sound is muddy? What would you do to clean it up?

btw, i think we have a misunderstanding here, i don't mean minimal vs non-minimal music, that is a matter of taste, i mean that you had already a unique sound, now (lately) you are just a one in a million copy cat, making minimal music should not stop you from incorporating your unique sound you already had, that made you be one in hundred instead of one in a million, do you wanna be an artist or a service provider?

well, just wondering, knowing a you a little bit, that is all.

the bass/kick relation is not very well chosen and mixed (EQ'ed, reverb), they bite each other, plus it is generally only bass and some hi hat, the rest is pretty much non existing. (like rave also said)

I´m not a fan of "minimal" stuff...

But listening this song appears to me "flat", "Dull" or wherever you may call.

Maybe it´s because it´s not my genre but maybe a little more components in the sound, like a "melody" bass line can sound good.

Poor Grappadura. You asked for some technical advice, now everybodys discussing your musical style. That's why i don't play my music to anyone until i say it's finished, because it's m y music. The style is not up for discussion.

Here's another idea: You can also try some transient shaping. Do you use the SPL Plugs? Or something alike? A good weapon against percussion sounding flabby or dull...

well no, it seems I didnt "dither", I just chose a resolution of 32 bit. btw., what sampling rate do you guys use when you render the track?

Listened to it. Sounds like a good start of track. But, where is the Hook? The lead? Changes? Maybe I don't get this style. I dig minimal, (if that's what it is), on a big sound system. I'm a fan. But this track doesn't seem to go anywhere.
