Saw them in '01 or '02 in Austin, TX. Ate a good amount of acid. Lights off...just about pitch black. It felt like the exact opposite of trance music....no emotional manipulation whatsoever, in fact total absence of emotional contour. Zero dance-ability...I felt emotionally and rhythmically pinned in place like a moth in a science project. My favorite part of the show was watching hotties vainly trying to booty grind to the music, frowning, then trying to dance at all...fail, go get more drinks. Weird show...did not move me at all in any way, which is rather extraordinary....wasn't bored, excited, depressed, joyful....just....nothing. Walked out and had to drive 7 hours back home peaking on a headful of acid. That was the best part actually. Koxbox fucked me up on that drive home!
