can you load your own samples in that ipad esx, I didn't think so...
anyways it pains me to say it but.

Again, the iPad has only been out for a month and in that time we've seen the release of the Electribe and Rebirth apps, some less notable music apps, and the countless other music apps that already existed for the iPhone and iPod Touch. Things are only going to get better. So "but can it...." is a stupid question that the answer may change in a week or two.

The MPC, as great as it may be, is just going to basically do what it's already been doing. There's not going to be any huge leaps in available options.

Does anybody have issues with latency when fingerdrumming on an iPad?

Yeap, pretty impressive and through wifi. A usb connection will probably make it a perfect controller :)

For some reason I don't see this happening because if it was just that easy it would have already happened by now. The iPad is new but the iPhone isn't and they basically run off the same technology.

But who knows.
