It is not the MCU. It is how Live handles it. I have never gotten it to work smoothly. Quite frequently when you move a fader Live does not seem to respond even though you will see the MIDI IN monitor light go blink. Therefore when Live updates the fader status it moves the fader back. Sorry, I know it sucks. I have tried different MIDI interfaces which can alleviate the problem but as we have all said, Live is flakey with the MCU.
The only solution I found to use my MCU to mix is to mix in a different program. I use Reaper to mix.
