beats me wrote: Thanks for finally adopting the face of Flash, the VCR of web development tools. :)

That's the thing. It's evolving and will continue to do so. This kinda thing can only encourage Adobe to make Flash player better.

Still, I gotta hand it to Jobs. The balls on that guy. A brilliant fucking move. Brilliant. He wants Flash gone and that kind of open letter only puts Adobe on the major defensive. Nevermind that most of what he says is dubious at best about performance. And that HTML5 isn't far enough along to even remotely show that it's any faster or more efficient. All that doesn't matter. A brilliant PR move is a brilliant PR move.

Has Jobs ever given an explanation why Apple won't provide a Blu-Ray drive as an option on Macs?

Something about the licensing being too expensive.

Yeah, but it doesn't seem to be too expensive to PC manufacturers. Whatever the reason, my next computer will be a PC. Fuck Apple...

This.

Interesting rant though. Yes, brilliant PR job, whatever the facts are. Thank God Apple is here to pave the way to the future for us. I for one am sure glad Steve ate a bunch of acid back in the day! ;)

Well at least it proves once and for all that taking acid does not rot your brain.

I see we've got yet another Apple hater here. What's the matter? Feeling sour about the premature abortion of your dream HP Slate running Windows 7?
