im not sure which size youre getting, but my 8020s fit great on a solid mic stand. no effect on freq response (as far as i can tell). but great for positioning and saves desk space. cheap too

well those are TRS (balanced) what you want is TS (unbalanced)

just check the length!!! i think those are 5m, might be overkill, keep 'em as short as possible.

all the quality ones (the link above) are balanced if shorter...

maybe you need to get cables elsewhere...

for 8020s they probably do... but rule of thump is always as stable, non wobbly and solid like a rock as possible... the less the speaker can move in any way the better.

the reason people use foam shit underneath is for protection of your neighbours but it is evil for the sound, as hard and solid as possible is better for the sound, anything soft is good for neighbours and bad for the sound, so fuck the neighbours, simple.

to be honest even neutrik are the best connectors, but they really come to play if you patch permanently around, in a more or less fixed connex with a cable run of 2m there is not really a point to change those simple ones.
