I´ve ordered a Corei/ MBP15" with the 7200rpm HD option.
And when SSDs get a bit more affordable, I can still install one.
And feel like having bought a new computer - also moneywise, probably :(

dunno, but the intel 160gb (the one i use) is for around 430$. not exactly a new computer (at least no MBP15" corei5 or corei7 :))

OK, depends on what you buy. 500GB in the performance ballpark of Intel X25m or up - some people surely buy a laptop for that ;o)

sure.. some. but not those that buy an actual generation macbook to run live on and care about performance
