There is no such point. In about 20 years, when I get my bionic ears, I'd still want better time stretching algorithms. When I saved up for the bionic vocal chords, I'll pitch my voice down about 2 octaves and yell "Nooooo!!!" slowly all the time. That'll never get old.

that's normal, that's the warp engine. check carefully which mode you're using, even complex pro introduces some artifacts. the cleanest is re-pitch
or you can simply desactivate Warp and it should not be metallic anymore.

I actually find that it tastes würmer, in an analog kind of way. Not as clean sounding as those other high-end DAWs like Logic or Cubase. :wink:

WELL I heard that Live's master bus uses an emulation of the SSL mix bus compressor, so it MUST sound more analog and thereby better than any competing DAW.
