Where can I buy/download this APC40 hack?
Re: Where can I buy/download this APC40 hack?
I still don't understand what you mean by locators but you definitely need bomes...
It allows you to use rules such as for each press of a bank select button it changes the next midi message....
You'll have to make your request clear on the bomes forum after you've got the software....
Cheers

Are you set on running the audio AND video out of just Live?
I used to send MIDI notes into Resolume (PC only?) that would change to the specified video clip.
MIDI Track with a clip on every scene that sends the appropriate note over to the video software to fire off the right clip, if you make your clips tempo matched and the right length it should work as long as you always plan to run that track at that tempo, (in theory).
Didn't have tempo matched clips but I remember having each scene changing a simple video loop and it was like having an automated VJ setup, still in the works actually..

Thats a my iSight cam put threw some video effects, any kind of light passing by will make strokes, tons of fun, donno why the video came in upside down tho.. CellDNA

hey there,
i think using the iac driver to send midi out of live, and then back in would work. you could send a midi note from a clip, and have that note mapped to a locator. you just need to have send the note out and then back in.
check out this video, http://www.cosm.co.nz/index.php?option= ... id=20:news.
he has a bunch of other videos using the iac driver. he has one that involves a looper...? i haven't watched it in a while, but i think you can get the results you want using some of the techniques he uses, and the iac driver is free, on a mac.
good luck with it

It seems like Bome's is the only possible solution, so I'll try to make myself clear on the bomes forum

I think Jeff means have a midi clip send 2 notes out the iac driver eg C and D. C comes back into live and is midi mapped to play the audio clip in session view and D is mapped to the video locator of arrangement. 3 tracks - midi, audio, and whatever videos are. launch the midi clip with apc40. don't have to map any apc40 buttons that way and can still move red rectangle normallykeppy wrote:hey there,
