@peez, well not really, the poly "feedback" abstraction is a self modulating oscillator that produces noise.. a block size (vector size) of 64 samples adds a 44100/64=690Hz tone to the noise which is audible, while vector size 1 (lowest possible) adds 44100Hz obviously. all of the noisy parameters of the sbx 2049 depends on it, and it just wont sound the same with higher vector sizes...

hi ulv, controlling steps thru midi is something that we plan to implement in the future. for now if you are using the apc/launchpad you could use one of the many wonderful existing monome stepseq such as "obo" by stretta (will require a monome emulator tho..) or any other controllable stepseq. m4l patch, and send midi notes c3 to f3 to the 2049.
