What's the word on the meetup? I'm actually in the process of building a new mac (yeah, building... shhh) so my files and drives are all in shambles but I should be able to throw a fresh copy of live 8 on my old macbook pro (the poor bugger is limping these days, it might very well be the end of it) and play along.

I've been in a rut, I'd like to see what others locally have been doing. 8)

I work weekdays till mid afternoon but have to get up bright and early every morning, so I dont plan on staying out too late. I'd also like to avoid Redmond/Cap Hill during the week... but don't really have any suggestions for a space that might accomodate. I'm more keen to a weekend afternoon as long as it isnt this coming Saturday.

Hey All,

So yeah Seattle, let's get something going here.

How about Wed, Sept 8, in the evening?

As I said before, I can host the first meeting, if it's relatively small (5-10), at my marina in Ballard.

Alternatively, we could meet at a bar/pub for a met and greet, and really just concentrate on communicating to the group what we want to learn, organizng from there. That feels like a quick way into productive territory.

Let me know what y'all think.

8th works for me too...glad to see someone spinning this up. I've been looking to see where all the Emerald City Ableton'ers have been hiding out.

Hey, so is this still on?
Bar or houseboat? Should we firm plans up offline?

Just checking in, 8th in the evening is good for me too.

Alright folks, how's this:

Wed Sept. 8, 7pm @ The Peoples Pub on Ballard Ave. Let's meet and greet, and find out what we want to learn, and what we can teach. I'm not even gonna bring my lappy the first time.

Peas,

Catfish

Good call Scudman. And nice to meet you guys. Good to talk shop with fellow Live users. Very different from past meetups in a good way.

Thanks Catfish for pulling that together. I look forward to the next one.
